DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Food Service Worker 1, you will work with our dietary management team to provide a seamless flow of patient meal production and service. You will follow food safety guidelines, read and interpret tray tickets, and comply with dietary instructions. You will assist with preparing and cooking ingredients, portioning food, and delivering trays. This role uses culinary skills to provide our patients with tasty meals and top-notch customer service to brighten their day. In addition, you will be trained to maintain our high sanitation standards, clean equipment, operate dish washing machines, and use floor scrubbers.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
You will have one weekend off per month, in addition to rotating days off.
You will be required to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
You will be required to work 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM as needed.

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
