SW - Kitchen Worker

Job Description

A Kitchen Worker is responsible for preparing and serving food, cleaning and maintaining the food service area, and assisting with inventory control, as well as following all state food safety procedures and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus
• Serve food to customers in a timely and courteous manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service areas and equipment
• Follow all food safety procedures and regulations
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, and grills, etc.
• Assist in receiving and storing of goods
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
• Must be enrolled full time
• Be in good financial standing with the University
• Be in good standing with DOSS
• Must have the ability to monitor and operate in fast-paced environments
• Maintain a minimum of 2.5 GPA or higher
• Be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs
