Job Summary: The Environmental Services Housekeeper cleans and services rooms, baths, lavatories and other resident areas. Dusts furniture and equipment. Cleans windowsills, empties trash baskets, and arranges furniture in an orderly fashion. Cleans and services assigned areas and equipment; efficient expenditures of soap, polishes and similar supplies; and keep nursing facility in clean and orderly manner.
Essential Functions:
Vacuum, Clean and Mop Floors, Dust Furniture and Equipment,
Replenish soap and paper products, Polish and Clean Vents, Doors, Windows, Gaps and Fixtures.
Dust light fixtures outside and inside, dust windowsills and exam tables, wipe down doors.
Clean Washbasin, toilets, wash mirrors and wipe down walls as necessary.
Clean all exam rooms each day- relay concerns to supervisor.
Empty and Wash Waster Baskets.
Clean any equipment used daily.
Assist with Emergency Cleaning as needed.
Assist with setting up the isolation room as needed and remove waste from the isolation room as necessary
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Preferred Education/ Experience:
- One year of Housekeeping Experience preferred. Previous experience with Floor Cleaning
Equipment preferred. Clear and Concise communication.
