Receptionist Job Description This role involves daily duties such as reception, answering phones, greeting guests, making coffee, ensuring coffee supplies are replenished, and assisting in the mailroom when needed. The position does not require extensive lifting, standing, or walking. A successful candidate will have a reception background and be able to provide a high level of customer service. They should also communicate positively with attorneys and their clients. Responsibilities Manage front desk reception duties, including answering phones and greeting guests. Prepare and serve coffee, ensuring supplies are replenished. Assist in the mailroom when necessary. Provide exceptional customer service. Communicate effectively with attorneys and their clients. Essential Skills Proven experience in customer service. Strong front desk and receptionist skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel. Administrative support and clerical skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred: 1-3 years of related business experience, with a strong preference for administrative and receptionist experience. Work Environment This position supports a law firm. The dress code is business casual, excluding jeans. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.57 - $21.00/hr.
