Assistant Cook (Bistro) - 1.0 FTE, Day Shift

Shift: Monday- Friday between the hours of 6am-2:30pm

This Assistant Cook position is directly under the Lead Cook and fills in for the lead cook when necessary. This position is responsible for the supervision of other staff members and does take the lead in the afternoon when lead cook and/or manager are absent.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

License/Certifications:

• Servsafe Certified within 6 months of hire

Experience:

• 1-3 years short order grill and prep experience
• Verbal, written, math skills. Follow recipes, proper storage, safe food handling and knife skills. Sanitation knowledge.

Other:

• Formal training through food service courses, culinary training
• 3-7 years working in food service
