Serving made-to-order Breakfast & Lunch in 2 Horsham locations, our cafes are places where the sense of home-cooked foods and the sounds of soulful music meet to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.

Job Summary:

We are looking for skilled and reliable Cooks to join our kitchen team. Our cafe serves fresh, made-to-order breakfast and lunch in a welcoming and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. This role includes preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth service throughout breakfast and lunch hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to recipes and cafe standards.

Manage the grill, griddle, and prep stations to ensure efficient food production.

Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and work areas.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management about stock needs.

Work efficiently to keep up with customer orders while maintaining food quality.

Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage.

Collaborate with cafe staff to ensure smooth kitchen-to-customer service flow.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience as a cook or line cook in a restaurant or cafe setting

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Availability Monday through Friday during breakfast and lunch hours (no nights or weekends!).

Shifts/Hours:

Required Hours: 9 am - 2 pm, M-F. No weekends!

Additional hours offered can increase your earnings. This work may include daily prep, meal prep and/or catering. Be sure to tell your interviewer about your interest and availability for these extra hours!
