Restaurant Olivia - Dishwasher/Polisher Position

Restaurant Olivia is a pasta-focused Italian fine dining restaurant with a mission to be a beacon of change in the hospitality industry. We are seeking a dedicated dishwasher/polisher who is excited about working alongside our culinary team and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness for all dishware, glassware, silverware, and kitchen equipment

Operate and maintainmercial dishwashing equipment

Polish silverware, glassware, and plateware to ensure spotless presentation

Support kitchen operations by keeping workstations clean andanized

Assist with basic food prep as needed

Properly sort and dispose of waste according to our sustainability practices

Maintain cleanliness of dish pit area throughout and at the end of service

Collaborate with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow

Dinner service only Tuesday-Saturday, full-time position consisting of four (4) to five (5) shifts per week. Some Sundays and Mondays availability may be necessary for special events.

Qualifications:

Previous dishwashing experience in a restaurant setting preferred but not required

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper sanitation practices

Reliability and punctuality

A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Interest in sustainability and reducing restaurant waste
