This position requires evening and weekends.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Executive Chef in developing and executing menus that reflect the brands culinary standards and seasonal relevance.
Uphold stationanization, cleanliness, and prep readiness for every service; ensure all BOH areas meet sanitation and safety standards.
Lead by example during service, modeling accurate technique, pacing, and teamwork while maintaining a positive and professional kitchen culture.
Oversee daily prep execution assign tasks, monitor efficiency, and ensure consistent quality and portion control across all dishes.
Maintain a deep understanding of all menu items, ingredients, and allergens, including Olympia Provisions products and culinary philosophy.
Order and receive goods as directed, ensuring inventory accuracy and minimal waste; support monthly inventory counts.
Adjust labor during service based on volume, including early cuts or shift adjustments to maintain labor targets and team morale.
Reinforce adnce to all SOPs, food safety protocols, and quality standards; assist in maintaining 95+ health inspection scores.
Train, coach, and mentor line cooks; provide ongoing feedback and ensure team is cross-trained, engaged, and growing in skill.
Communicate effectively with BOH and FOH leadership to maintain smooth service, support special events, and resolve any issues promptly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of classical and contemporary culinary techniques
2-4 years of kitchen leadership experience, preferably in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Ability to manage prep, pacing, andmunication during service while maintainingposure and professionalism
Familiarity with inventory systems, portion control, and basic cost management
Organized, detail-oriented, andmitted to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and execution
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coach others while maintaining a collaborative team culture

Required to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and stoop. Must have working taste buds, ability to smell, feel with fingers, and visually inspect food.
