Rocco's has been a part of Belltown for 14 years. During the pandemic we have grown from a hidden gem specialty cocktail bar with the best slice in town; to one of the largest volume, full-service restaurants in the neighborhood. We feature a well known and innovative bar program. We are currently looking to add a another host to the Rocco's crew.
The ideal candidate will:
Have availability for 2 to 3 shifts per week.
Be able to maintain a positive attitude andmunicate respectively and cordially with coworkers and guests.
Have the ability to problem solve on the fly.
Feelfortable multi-tasking at in a fast pace environment.
Experience with Toast, Open Table and Third party food delivery applications.
Our host position is cross trained as a server's assistant/expo. For the right candidate bar backing coverage shifts could be available.
We are also expanding our in house delivery/catering. This would be an opportunity to pick up additional ie if interested.
The host position includes but not limited to; greeting and seating guests, managing "day of" reservations, ( entering, handling, boxing/bagging, labeling, distributing) online food orders (at times these can be very large orders), adjusting table arrangements for reservations, assisting the floor staff in running food and drinks, bussing tables and filling waters.
Previous restaurant experience is strongly encouraged, though we are willing to train the right person with hospitality or customer service experience. After training isplete, most likely the schedule will be one weekday/night shift and one weekend shift. After the initial week of training, the first couple weeks will consist of weekend nights, as we staff two hosts on those shifts.
