Silk Road is a vibrant cocktail bar and restaurant in the heart of the Pearl District is known for its exceptional food, creative cocktails, and lively atmosp. We're looking for a dedicated andanized Expo to join our team and help keep the magic flowing smoothly from the kitchen to our guests.
Position:
The Expo (Expeditor) plays a critical role in ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You'll be the key liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house team, ensuring that food is delivered quickly and accurately to the guests. This position requires excellentmunication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Additional responsibilities include bussing tables, occasional dishwashing, and attending to customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively between the kitchen staff and front of house
- Track and manage order flow to maintain efficient service
- Monitor food quality and presentation for consistency
- Bus tables and assist with dishwashing when needed
- Attend to customer requests and provide excellent customer service
- Assist withanizing and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen pass
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with timing or orders
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Expo or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant is preferred
- Prior experience or a passion for Asian cuisine is preferred
- Strongmunication andanizational skills
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Keen eye for detail and a passion for food quality
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Availability to work weekends is required
- Late night availibily is required
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
