Working on Reed's beautiful college campus is a nice change from traditional food service operations so if you enjoy hospitality but want a change of pace this could be a great opportunity!

4 Positions Available:

1. Saturday-Sunday 3-8 pm

2. Friday-Monday 3-8 pm

3. Monday-Friday 3-11 pm

4. Sunday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8:30 am-1:30 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains cafe - cleaning, stocking, brewing coffee, etc...

Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.

Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.

Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts to customers.

Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.

Interacts with customers and resolves customerplaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is inpliance with overage/shortage standards.

Ensurespliance withpany service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.

Ensurespliance with all sanitation, and safety requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary:

Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts andpleting cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.
