JOB SUMMARY:
The HHR Host is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and high-value players, ensuring exceptional guest experience, and promoting loyalty to the property. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong understanding of gaming operations, and a passion for hospitality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and high-value guests to encourage repeat visits.
- Greet and assist guests on the HHR floor, ensuring a high level of personalized service.
- Monitor player activity and identify potential high-value players.
- Coordinate and offer comps, promotions, special events, and invitations to qualified guests.
- Resolve guest issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute targeted campaigns.
- Will be responsible for achieving pre-established individual goals and objectives as defined by management
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, visits, and activity.
- Represent the property at internal and external events as needed.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
- Assist customers with questions and complaints.
- Provide answers and explanations and rectify problems as appropriate.
- Meet appearance and grooming requirements.
- Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
- Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Explain how to handicap on an HHR terminal.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the propertys AML (Anti Money Laundering) Policy.
- Monitor for suspicious activity as defined by the BSA and the propertys AML Policy.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission and ensures strict adherence to these procedures throughout the property.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- College degree is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality, customer service, host, or gaming operations is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in gaming management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Occasional travel required.
- Must have experience with Guest service and or present an inviting positive and polite attitude towards our guest and fellow team members.
- Must be able to work with a team and able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills when needed.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
- Experience with VIP guest services or player development are preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with loyalty programs and CRM tools are preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
