We are seeking exceptional culinary and hospitality leaders to help shape this extraordinary new chapter. At the helm of Babbo is Chef Mark Ladner, a James Beard Award winning chef who earned two Michelin stars and a four-star New York Times review as Executive Chef of Del Posto. With formative experience under legends like Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Todd English, Chef Ladner brings a rare level of craft and vision. Alongside Chef Ladners reimagined culinary program is a wine & beverage program of great depth with a wine cellar that is the home to rare gems and benchmark Italian wine producers spanning the country from north to south. Now Hiring: A poised, warm, and gracious Lead Host to be the welcoming face of our restaurant. As the first point of contact, you set the tone for each guests experiencecreating an immediate sense of hospitality and ensuring every visit begins with ease and professionalism. From managing reservations and orchestrating the flow of the dining room to greeting regulars and first-time guests alike, you play a vital role in shaping the atmosphere and delivering an exceptional first impression.

Qualifications:

  • Poise and precision, with a natural inclination toward warmth and gracious hospitality
  • 4+ year of experience in a busy/well rated NYT restaurant as a host or reservationist
  • Familiarity & experience operating OpenTable or Resy reservations systems
  • Ability to speak clearly and articulately on the telephone, providing information and answering questions for callers, while focusing on etiquette and conveying a sense of calm
