Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Facilities Housekeeper for the 2nd shift, working from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay ranging from $15 to $18 per hour. Comprehensive benefits will be available upon conversion to permanent status. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
The Hospital Facilities Housekeeper will perform various cleaning tasks to uphold the hospital's hygiene standards. Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing lobby areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables following hospital protocols.
• Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness of floors in public and patient areas.
• Cleaning offices, break rooms, and restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Conducting routine inspections to report maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Following infection control procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.

Work Schedule
This role includes rotating weekends and holidays. Flexibility is essential to meet hospital staffing needs. Employees are required to wear scrubs during shifts to maintain a professional appearance and comply with hospital standards. Compensation and Benefits
