JOB TITLE: Receptionist Maintenance Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance
WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Nonexempt
PAYGRADE: Para 3
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Receptionist will Support the daily business activities of the building by answering telephones and greeting and directing guests. Assist with clerical duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High School graduate or GED
- 1-Year Job-Related Experience
- Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively in English
Preferred:
- Three years job-related experience
- Experience Using The Google Suite platform
- Familiarity With Maintaining Social Media Platforms
- Bilingual-Fluently Spoken and Written

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Answer telecommunication systems for the purpose of screening calls, transferring calls, responding to inquiries and/or taking messages.
- Performs clerical and bookkeeping duties for the Maintenance Department
- Responsible for all timekeeping and maintaining department attendance spreadsheets
- Greet and direct/assist vendors, administrators, and other visitors to their proper locations.
- Reviews applicant credentials and schedules department interviews
- Maintains supply inventory; anticipates needed supplies; places and expedites orders for supplies; verifies receipt of supplies
- Compares invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered.
- Maintains and updates department information on all Maintenance social media platforms
- Participate in staff development and faculty meetings as assigned.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The usual and customary methods of performing this job require the following: ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment efficiently and effectively with frequent interruptions. Jobs may require prolonged periods of time sitting, reaching and repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computers. Overtime is required as necessary.
