Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Suite Attendant to join our team at KeyBank Center. The Suite Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that all suite guests receive a high level of personalized service, creating memorable experiences for every guest during Buffalo Sabres home games and other events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for suite holders and their guests, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
  • Event Preparation: Assist in the setup and customization of suites prior to events, including checking suites for cleanliness, arranging special requests, and ensuring that all amenities are stocked and in working order.
  • On-Site Service: Provide exceptional service during events, including greeting guests with enthusiasm and friendliness, monitoring credentialed access to the Lawley Suite Level, addressing any immediate needs or concerns, and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Personalization: Tailor experiences to the preferences of suite holders and their guests, including special accommodations, VIP requests, and personalized touches.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with suite holders, internal staff, and supervisors to ensure all needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly and efficiently resolve any issues that arise, including handling complaints or special requests, to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the team, catering staff, and security to provide a cohesive and high-quality experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a high-end customer service role, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry. Experience in hospitality management or a similar field is a plus.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to anticipate and address the needs of high-profile clients. Ability to remain standing / walking for up to 8 hours.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards of service and presentation.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as games and events often occur outside of regular business hours.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Availability: Must be available to work at least 50% of events scheduled each month.

Compensation

  • $15.50 per hour
