Position Overview
Were looking for a reliable, proactive Housekeeper & Home Organization Specialist to join our San Jose household for 57 hours per week (with potential to grow up to 20 hours a week if available).
In this role, youll handle daily cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, dishes, laundry), tackle larger organization projects (garage, shed, closets), and designand maintainsystems that keep our home running smoothly.
Youll work independently, anticipate needs, and communicate clearly, especially as we prepare for upcoming recovery periods. Compensation is $4045/hour based on experience.
Key Qualities & Responsibilities
Strong cleaning skills with meticulous attention to detail
Proven experience transforming and organizing large spaces (garages, sheds, closets)
Ability to create durable systems (labeling, checklists, storage solutions) and sustain them
Self-starter mentalityspots tasks and acts without needing direction
Excellent communication: updates on progress, supply needs, or schedule changes
Physical stamina to lift, bend, and safely handle household items
Trustworthiness, discretion, and respect for our privacy and health needs
Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities, from routine upkeep to urgent recovery support
