TheMechanic is responsible for the maintenance of back-of-house areas, including kitchen, laundry, electrical, boiler, cooling tower, HVAC, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background and knowledge of these systems. This role involves performing repairs and preventative maintenance on nearly all mechanical equipment within the property. Previous engineering or maintenance experience is required, preferably in a hotel environment. A minimum of two years of experience is required, with trade school or factory training preferred. Strong communication skills are essential, and open availability is required.

Prior Engineering experience working with mechanical systems in a hotel setting preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or a related field
EPA Certification preferred
Excellent service orientation and attention to detail
Able to walk and stand throughout duration of shift
Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Physical ability to lift, push, pull heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.), climb ladders, and work in various conditions
