What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our client's facility. The Day Porter's responsibilities include keeping common areas clean and tidy, responding to guest requests promptly, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed. Our ideal candidate has experience in janitorial or custodial services and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Day Porter Responsibilities/Duties:
- Clean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restrooms, etc.).
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners, cleaning receptacles as needed.
- Perform and document routine inspection of assigned areas.
- Stock and maintain supply closets.
- Wears the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
- Timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Other tasks, as assigned by your supervisor.
Day Porter Qualifications:
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience. (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively with a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. - We Use E-Verify.
