Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing Department in planning and executing all Marketing events and programs.
What You'll Do:
- Plans and activates special events and related retail and sponsorship activities . Includes, but is not limited to, organizing the load-in and load-outs, physically setting up and breaking down assets and activations, and attending and recapping programs.
- Maintains communication and relationships with sales teams, internal departments, vendors and supplier-partners to activate assigned events, marketing communications and brand programs.
- Coordinates beer operations with sales teams for timely delivery, load in and settlement at events.
- Provides guidance to vendors and partners to suggest the best product mix and package for events.
- Aids in the planning of resources to maintain adequate POS, PPG, beer donations, inventory and labor dedicated for each event.
- Manages assigned budget effectively and maintains budget reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Works with the Marketing team to ensure all licensing documents are valid and opens/closes accounts respectively.
- Keeps informed of product, package, pricing and TABC marketing guidelines.
- Has a working awareness of competitive positions, events and brand programs.
- Coordinates, staffing and activating key programs for Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in the market.
- Assists the Employee Events Committee with planning and executing annual employee events.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or related field.
- 2 years of Marketing or event experience, beverage industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Requires solid negotiating skills, product knowledge, excellent verbal and written communication skills, creativity and attention to detail.
- Bilingual English/Spanish reading, writing and comprehension required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
The Physical Requirements:
- Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)
- Continuous lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate a two or four-wheel dolly.
- Will be required to be certified to drive company vehicles.
Working Conditions:
- Job duties are performed in all weather conditions (indoor & outdoor) including high temperatures, cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow
- Days, nights, holidays, weekends.
- Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes.
- Work hours will vary daily due to business needs.
