Opportunity

Ensure that all guests are served to the standard in the Restaurant / Bar / Banquet areas. Takes orders for, serves (where applicable, prepares) food and beverages to guests as per the standards in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.

• Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.

• Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell .

• Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system.

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu when applicable .

• Process payment transactions.

• Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed.

• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.

• Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with questions .

• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.

• Server food and beverage per the course of order.

• Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.

• Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.

• Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.

• Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table when applicable (must be 18 or over and licensed) .

• Understands and can communicate products and services available at the resort.

• Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station.

• Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and seating guests.

Skills/Requirements

Safe Serve Certified, as applicable.

2 years p revious experience as a server, required

The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 3 0 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 5 0 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The hourly range for this position is $2.35 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location.
