As a Maintenance Worker II with our Buildings team, you will perform a variety of tasks such as:

• Performing routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
• Helping keep city facilities clean, orderly, and well-maintained
• Assisting with setups for meetings, events, and other functions
• Handling minor painting jobs and general building repairs
• Working with a team on snow removal operations
• Responding to night and weekend emergency calls for maintenance, on occasion

Qualifications and skills needed:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least two years of experience in a similar maintenance role
• Possess a valid driver's license
• A solid understanding of heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
• Ability to maintain regular and dependable attendance

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and fro m 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Labor Day to Memorial Day) .
