Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities:
Assist the kitchen staff in the preparation of food items, such as chopping vegetables, peeling fruits, and portioning ingredients.
Set up and stock workstations with all necessary supplies and equipment.
Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately to ensure consistent quality.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
Wash, peel, and cut various food items as required.
Dispose of waste materials and ensure proper recycling practices.
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing food and supply deliveries.
Help with the organization and rotation of inventory to minimize waste.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of knives and kitchen equipment.
Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
Assist in food plating and presentation.
Support the kitchen team in any additional tasks or projects as needed.

Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects when needed.
Food Handlers certificate or willingness to obtain one.
