Position Summary: To ensure the cleanliness of the public washrooms, corridors, lobby, and hotel offices.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains supply levels in the public areas, i.e. pads and pencils, toilet paper, and Kleenex.
- Maintains and cleans all public washrooms, checking twice each hour.
- Makes routine checks of all public areas to ensure cleanliness. Empties ash urns and stamps with logo.
- Dusts all tables, lamps, and ledges in all public areas and corridors.
- Maintains the cleanliness of all windows, glass, and doors in public areas.
- Checks guest elevators, cleans carpets, and polishes brass as necessary. Maintains elevator tracks.
- Performs cleaning tasks in public areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, moping, and collecting garbage.
- Assists guests and other staff members as needed.
Position Requirements
Minimum Knowledge: Requires basic employment skills in clerical, service, or manual areas.
Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: This position requires a minimum formal education of some high school and a minimum of less than six months job-related experience.
License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Valid driver's license.
