REPORTS TO: Lead Cook

JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS:

In conjunction with the Lead Cook, the cook will prepare meals and maintain the kitchen area.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:

A high school diploma or equivalent is needed. Experience in food preparation is necessary, and the ability to follow a menu is a requirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepare and serve meals.

  2. Help on special activities or occasions.

  3. Work independently on scheduled meals.

  4. Maintain personal hygiene.

  5. Help maintain food service standards in compliance with regulations.

  6. Adhere to schedule developed by head cook.

  7. Follow directions of head cook.

  8. Aid in completion of kitchen tasks.

  9. Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by supervision & PQI Committee.
