Part-Time Janitor -- Mitchell Recreation Center

If you are some one who like to clean and enjoys light maintenance this position is for you. The Rec Center is looking for someone to work three days a week from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. The Rec Center is located at 1300 North Main, Mitchell, SD., and includes exercise rooms, lockers, children's play areas, pools, and offices.

Basic duties include the cleaning and disinfecting of locker rooms and restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning weight machines and cardio machines, assists with cleaning of hot tub, steam room, and pool areas. Snow shoveling and some laundry duties are also assigned, as well as other related duties. General maintenance reports must be filled out correctly. Work is assigned and supervised by the Recreation Center Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

Must be age 18 or older.

Special Requirements

Must be able to work in an environment with cleaning chemcials, dust, and dirt. Must be able to lift and carry light and moderately heavy objects and push brooms and mops in large areas.
