Location Description

Overview

Ensure total guest satisfaction in Stillwaters through effective communication skills and efficient anticipation of guest requirements.

1. Perform all duties in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies.
2. Flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand.
3. Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
4. Maintain uniform and grooming standards as outlined in employee handbook and departmental training.
5. Open and close according to posted Restaurant hours.
6. Offer a sincere “Welcome” and “Thank You” to every guest
7. Knowledge of the floor plan for each meal period-where each group will be seated, with appropriate group signage in each area.
8. Knowledge of menu cycles, menu cycle grid, and kiosk food labels.
9. Knowledge of forms used at the hostess stand (sign-in sheet, seating chart, daily restaurant count sheets, etc.).
10. Remain in the front entrance area of the Restaurant to ensure all guests are greeted and seated properly and promptly.
11. Exercise efficient, friendly communication with guests in the Restaurant and on the telephone.
12. Visit all tables in restaurant to ensure proper service is being given to all guests.
13. Anticipates guests needs to ensure meeting or exceeding their expectations.
14. Support all staff during scheduled shifts, helping out where needed.
15. Ensure proper attainment and recording of all Restaurant reservations and customer counts.
16. Understand Micros procedures (voids, reports, etc.)
17. Keep greeter stand neat and organized
18. Maintain quality and stock of menus and wine lists.
19. Utilize daily event sheets, function sheets, flash sheets, and daily change logs to help staff and guests.
20. Be knowledgeable of all services offered hotel wide
21. Attend meetings as required.
22. Full understanding of all job descriptions of restaurant and In-Room Dining.
23. Provide assistance in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Must have at least 6 months of customer service experience.
