Marcia Buker Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our facilities team as a Second Shift Custodian . This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community.

• Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces as needed
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory
• Set up and break down spaces for events or activities
• Monitor building security and ensure doors/windows are secured at end of shift
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and report larger issues to administration
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior custodial or maintenance experience (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks regularly
• Must pass background check requirements

Shift: 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

Work Schedule: This is a year round position. Working afternoons/evenings during the school year with the option of a day shift during the Summer.

Wages: $18.54 to $21.83/hour depending upon experience as well as a $0.30/hour shift differential . Benefit packages include: 100% employer paid single health insurance, 100% employer paid dental insurance, 100% employer paid life insurance coverage, paid holidays, earned vacation time, personal time and sick time.
