Marigold Bistro is a vibrant daytime cafe serving high-quality coffee, fresh seasonal dishes, and exceptional service to our community. We're open weekdays from 7 AM to 3 PM and also offer catering for corporate events, private gatherings, and special occasions.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Barista/Cashier to join our front-of-house team. This role is responsible for preparing beverages, processing orders, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring each guest has a positive experience from start to finish.

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service

• Prepare and serve espresso drinks, teas, and other cafe beverages to standard

• Accurately handle cash, card, and digital transactions using the POS system

• Take and fulfill food and drink orders efficiently

• Assist with morning opening and afternoon closing duties

• Keep the front counter, beverage station, and dining area clean and organized

• Communicate effectively with kitchen and catering staff for smooth service

• Assist with light food prep or packaging for catering orders as needed

• Restock supplies and maintain inventory of barista and front-of-house items

• Follow all health, safety, and food handling protocols

• Previous barista or cafe experience preferred but not required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable working early morning shifts (7:00 AM start time)

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
