Facility Custodian

SUMMARY:

As the CNC Shop Helper/Facility Custodian, your day will be split between light production and facility cleaning.

Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and ream bearings (daily)

• Chamfer small parts (as needed)

• Empty wheelbarrows of metal chips and shavings to recycle bins (daily)

• Machinery clean out (as needed)

• Mop/scrub shop floor (daily)

Custodial Duties (1 Day/week):

• Clean Restrooms, breakrooms

• Clean Office
• Collect and dispose of facility trash
• Breakdown and disposal of wood crates and boxes

ADDITIONAL TASKS AS ASSIGNED:

• Fill coolant, oil, and lubricants

• Material handling (deliver material to machines for processing)
• Pull and prep material for processing

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential

• Forklift experience required
• Lift 50 lbs
