The Cook 1 is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items according to established recipes and standards. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a culinary career with a focus on developing fundamental cooking skills and techniques.
What You'll Do:
- Labeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelves.
- Washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats.
- Measuring quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients.
- Parboiling food, reducing sauces, and starting initial steps in various dishes.
- Adhering to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards.
