SUMMARY

At Miraval Arizona, our Restaurant Servers play a vital role in delivering a serene and enriching dining experience that reflects our commitment to mindfulness, wellness, and exceptional hospitality. This position is responsible for guiding guests through their culinary journey with grace, attentiveness, and deep knowledge of our thoughtfully curated food and beverage offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To thrive in this role, the Restaurant Server must consistently demonstrate excellence in each essential duty, contributing to the serene and transformative guest experience that defines Miraval Arizona.

  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, upholding Miraval's commitment to well-being and care

  • Communicate with clarity, warmth, and professionalism when engaging with guests and colleagues

  • Foster a collaborative and uplifting team environment through a positive, enthusiastic attitude

  • Demonstrate mutual respect and mindfulness in all interactions with fellow colleagues

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of service standards and operational procedures as outlined in the Miraval Training Manual

  • Execute opening, closing, and side duties with precision and consistency

  • Deliver service within designated time frames while preserving a calm and attentive presence

  • Remain aware of guest presence and proactively anticipate their needs with grace and discretion

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of menu offerings, pricing, and the ability to provide vivid, engaging descriptions that reflect the culinary artistry of Miraval

  • Assist guests with genuine care and professionalism, ensuring they feel valued, heard, and nurtured

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables within assigned section, reflecting Miraval's standards of excellence

  • Attend and actively participate in daily pre-shift meetings to align with team goals and service expectations

  • Share guest feedback-both positive and constructive-with leadership to support continuous improvement

  • Demonstrates adaptability and a collaborative spirit by supporting various Food and Beverage operations as needed, including restaurant service and banquet functions

  • Accepts and fulfills additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership, acknowledging that duties may evolve and are not limited to those listed.

  • A sincere desire to anticipate and fulfill the needs of others in a fast-paced, high-touch setting

  • Refined verbal communication skills that foster clarity, warmth, and connection

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a full-service restaurant; fine dining or luxury resort experience strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and related technology

  • Strong working knowledge of coffee, beer, wine, and premium liquor service, with the ability to make thoughtful recommendations

  • Physical stamina to lift and carry moderate weight as needed throughout service

  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods while maintaining a poised and professional demeanor
