Housekeeper needed 2-8 times per month in Index, WA (Index) image 1 of 9 207 Avenue A near 2nd street compensation: $100 per cleaning ~ $35/hour I am looking for a long-term housekeeper for my 2-bedroom riverfront home that I Airbnb while I'm away.
We are Airbnb Superhosts (12 years), have a 4.87 rating, and are one of the few places that don't allow smoking or pets in our home. We are fanatical about providing a clean and welcoming place for our guests and our housekeeper is a critical member of our team. There are somewhere between 2-8 cleanings per month. I'm offering $100 per cleaning with no taxes removed. On average, with a good work ethic you should be done in about three hours. Sometimes more, sometimes less depending on the previous guests. That works out to about $35 an hour. You'll be cleaning the inside of the cabin as well as maintaining a few things on the grounds such as the hot tub, BBQ, bicycles, and porches. Cleaning experience is necessary. When it comes to "how clean" we have one easy standard: it doesn't get any cleaner. Here's what else that's important: Ability to clean between 11 am and 4 pm is REQUIRED. Since the cleaning days are random, the ideal candidate doesn't have anything else going on during the day and is looking for some extra cash. High attention to detail and a positive attitude. There are dozens of details that need to be accounted for - and we have a checklist. If you're more of a "big picture" person - this isn't going to work out for you. If you're OCD - perfect. Honesty. If you steal from me, I will know it, and I will prosecute. You must be able to pass a background test (that I will pay for) to be hired. Communication: If you have issues keeping a cell phone active, live in an area with poor reception that keeps you from reliably getting text and phone calls, or can't communicate clearly, or can't return a text in an hour or two, or don't know how to connect to wi-fi - no need to read any further. I prefer OVER communication so that we both know exactly what's going on. Organized and reliable. I don't have time to remind you of a cleaning date that I already communicated. If you don't have reliable transportation - no need to apply as we will not be able to work together. This includes snow days. Index elevation is 520 feet but we get more snow than you would expect at that altitude. I need to count on you. You must be local to the Skykomish Valley and have references. Our home and riverfront location are beautiful and our current housekeeper gets a deep sense of satisfaction preparing it for our next guest. This is a nice work environment and I look forward to employing someone who takes pride in their work and has a hospitality mindset.
