San Felipe Tacos is seeking experienced line/prep cooks for a unique opportunity who can work day or night shifts during the 12 days of fun at the MN State Fair (August 21-September 1). We are looking for skilled line/prep cooks with previous high-volume experience to join our team and create some of the most sought after and awarded food at the state fair in an exhibition style kitchen. San Felipe Tacos has won best food at the Minnesota State Fair. Please respond to this posting and let's talk. Responsibilities include: Maintaining work areas, keeping us clean and organized Monitoring the quality and consistency of all food served from the lines Set up, restock, maintain clean food preparation areas, wash dishes, shut down Displaying knowledge in sanitation and sanitary food handling Ensuring food is prepared and lines are restocked in a timely fashion Preparing food in accordance with working menus and recipes Daily ordering review and input on restocking Preventing problems and problem solving issues Ability to communicate well with others in noisy environment Having fun with a fast-paced team Qualifications include: -Team-oriented -Maintaining calm in a busy, fast-paced environment -Positive attitude/demeanor -Willing to have fun while working in a positive environment -Cooking with high volume experience -Enthusiastic to perform a variety of jobs -Availability during the entire State Fair (Aug 21 - Sept 1) If you are looking for a part-time job in a fun environment please send resume, references, and contact information.
