Dusty Star Saloon-Hiring a Line Cook (South Kalispell) 2205 Hwy 93 S compensation: DOA on experience employment type: job title: All Positions currently looking for a line cooks. 2 am shifts, 3 pm shifts Any experience in a kitchen welcomed, and we are willing to train those willing to learn. Dusty Star Saloon has a large kitchen with fun-loving, family mentality, with solid work ethics. Feel free to come check out our fast-paced restaurant in South Kalispell, loved by locals and welcoming to visitors. Responsibilities Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions Clean up station and stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Requirements Must be committed and reliable Restaurant/Hospitality experience a plus Ability to work weekends, weekdays and some holidays Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environment Have passion for great food and customer experience Physically able to lift heavy items (50 lbs) Be a Team Player with strong work ethics Able to follow instruction as a member of the team Familiarity with industry's best practice Willingness to learn and adapt to current practices Compensation based on position, experience and attitude Looking to hire as soon as possible.
