Full-Time Family Assistant / Housekeeper - Yorktown, VA (23693) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM (40 hours/week) Compensation: $35-$45/hour DOE + $250-$350 monthly medical stipend Start Date: ASAP A warm and professional family of four in Yorktown, VA is seeking a reliable, experienced, and trustworthy Family Assistant / Housekeeper to support their household. The family includes two boys (ages 2 and 6), both of whom are in school during the day, and a friendly senior Yorkie. This is a long-term opportunity for a candidate who enjoys working with families, has a strong work ethic, and can seamlessly blend into a household setting. Primary Responsibilities: General housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, tidying, and maintaining a clean and organized home Family laundry: washing, drying, folding (no ironing) Inventory tracking and household supply management Running local errands (e.g., grocery store, dry cleaning pick-up/drop-off) Light family-style meal prep School pick-ups and driving children to after-school activities Receiving vendors or service providers at the home Occasional additional support when parents are traveling Ideal Candidate: Proven track record with excellent references and long-term prior placements Honest, dependable, and highly organized Strong swimmer (for child safety around water) Non-smoker Comfortable with dogs and pet-friendly Flexible and adaptable to changing family needs Warm and professional demeanor This is a live-out position in an informal but busy household.
