Full-Time Housekeeper - Live-Out - Pound Ridge, NY A warm and creative family in Pound Ridge is seeking a kind, honest, and flexible Housekeeper to support their home, and assist with household needs. This is a collaborative role perfect for someone who enjoys being part of a team and is comfortable supporting a family with a dynamic schedule and an active home environment. The family has an active 3 year old who will be attending school in the fall. With the child returning to school, the family needs big support when it comes to the household. Position Details: Location: Pound Ridge, NY Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM (40 hours/week) Compensation: $30-$35/hr Live-in or Live-out: Live-Out Driving: Must have a valid driver's license, there is a car available for the position Housekeeping & Organization Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-run home at all times Daily cleaning of kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and common areas Weekly rotating deep cleaning (baseboards, blinds, appliances, etc.) Organize closets, drawers, cabinets, and pantries as needed Manage and execute household laundry (wash, dry, fold, put away) Errands & Supplies Grocery shopping and household supplies restocking Run errands including dry cleaning, returns, and post office Manage deliveries and inventory for household essentials Kitchen & Meal Prep Light meal prep or batch cooking support if desired Maintain fridge, pantry cleanliness, and rotation of items Pet & Plant Care Provide daily care for dogs (feeding, letting out, cleaning up) Occasionally walk dogs as needed Water and maintain indoor/outdoor plants on schedule Child Support (Occasional) Provide care for our son occasionally when needed (e.g. date night, appointments) Prepare snacks/meals and engage in activities if watching him Must be attentive, kind, and responsive Household Management Maintain household calendar for cleaning, appointments, repairs Schedule vendors or maintenance if needed Identify and communicate household needs proactively Ideal Candidate: Brings a calm, grounded, and warm energy to the home Enjoys working in a team-oriented environment Has experience balancing household management and childcare Is flexible , non-rigid , and willing to go with the flow Comfortable working alongside work-from-home parents If you are a nurturing, adaptable, and hands-on individual who enjoys both childcare and home support, we'd love to hear from you!
