NOTICE OF EMPLOYMENT VACANCY POSITION: UTILITY CLEANER Hours: 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM PAY RATE: $23.86 / HR LOCATION: GAO BUILDING 441 G Street NW, Washington, DC 20226 ALL QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MUST APPLY THROUGH OUR WEBSITE: Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean bathrooms include, but are not limited to, cleaning urinals, commodes, countertops, mirrors, partitions, and walls, dusting dispensers, air vents, and walls, mopping floors, and emptying trash cans.
• Pulling trash and recycling from, but not limited to, office space, coffee bars/kitchenettes, copy rooms, conference rooms, secure rooms, and team rooms.
• Vacuum carpet in the following areas: office space, common areas, copy rooms, conference rooms, secure rooms, and team rooms.
• Dust all horizontal surfaces in office spaces, including coffee bars/kitchenettes, copy rooms, conference rooms, secure rooms, and team rooms.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in related custodial services and related custodial cleaning functions in significant commercial or government office buildings.
• Must have a working knowledge of all custodial tools and equipment.
• Must have general hands-on knowledge of routine nightly and daytime building cleaning and related services.
• Must know how to mop.

Work Environment, Physical and Mental Demands : Office environment. Must be able to pull, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds for short distances, stand for extended periods, stoop, bend, and kneel as required. Must be able to follow schedules. Employees in this position will be subject to the rules of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Company and the Service Employees International Union, Local 32BJ.
