Hourly Wage
ISS offers a competitive compensation package including Benefits, Paid Time Off, and a starting hourly salary of $22.00 per hour -$23.00 per hour.
Work hours
The work hours for this position are Mon - Fri + Weekends, 5:00 am -10:30 pm
Key Purpose
A General Maintenance Worker will support the "Manager" in a safe, efficient, and professional manner with preventative, corrective, and general maintenance for the Client. Other duties include, but not limited to, daily assessments of systems, maintaining a clean working environment, and other various duties as assigned by the Manager, while adhering to all HS&E standards. The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing preventative maintenance in accordance with the CMMS schedule, assisting other maintenance personnel with repairs to electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, general facility, and grounds infrastructure, and providing general laborer support. The General Maintenance Worker is also responsible for following all processes to support client satisfaction. The General Maintenance Worker is an entry level, general labor position.
Success Criteria
Computer Software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer - general experience
Ability to communicate well with customers, managers, and coworkers
Strong customer service skills
Competency with basic hand tools
Competency with basic power tools
Able to produce a quality work product in a prompt, safe, and efficient manner

Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age
0-1 years in Facility Maintenance or related field
Valid state driver's license with a clean MV record (if operating moving vehicles)
Any trade certificate (desired)
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to calculate figures and amounts
Key Accountabilities
The General Maintenance Worker may not work independently and must work under the direction/oversight of local (Lead Building Engineer, Chief Engineer, or FM), Regional, or Country TS and Account Managers (dependent on space type, scope of work, and dispersion of ISS organizational managers). The General Maintenance Worker does not supervise other ISS TS personnel or third-party vendors.
Completes HS&E training as scheduled; Follows HS&E procedures; Demonstrates safe work practices; Exhibits HS&E best practice culture; Reports unacceptable HS&E conditions immediately
Performs general maintenance tasks around the facility, including door repairs, setups, light mechanical, light plumbing repairs, painting, patching, light bulb replacement, and other general laborer tasks as directed by the Manager
Resolves client customer work order requests on the computer-based work order system
Assists tradesmen with repair, adjustment, and maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and associated equipment as directed by the Manager
Performs and documents maintenance and repairs in a timely and accurate manner
Complies with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintains a clean and safe workspace
Performs manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
Performs general building rounds and is responsible for reporting conditions observed

While performing the duties of this job, the General Maintenance Worker is regularly required to stand and walk at eight-hour intervals with occasional scheduled breaks

The individual is frequently required to climb stairs and ladders
The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, at higher than chest level
Must be able to tolerate adverse working conditions due to climate and tolerate extreme temperature changes
