The Gurwin Family of Healthcare Services is a renowned healthcare provider located on Long Island, NY which offers a full continuum of services. The Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a 5-star, 460-bed facility providing services for short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, home care programs, a ventilator dependent care, palliative and hospice care, a new Memory Care Unit and on-site dialysis. The Gurwin Family of Healthcare Services also includes the 201-apartment Gurwin Jewish~ Fay J. Lindner Residences assisted living community, and the proposed Fountaingate Gardens independent living community, to be built on the Commack campus.

Our Assisted Living Community is currently seeking a per diem F Receptionist who will embody the passion and commitment required to continue our reputation of providing the gold standard of excellence in assisted living.
Our ideal candidate should have prior experience or other related experience dealing with people.
Maintain a professional appearance and a pleasant disposition at all times.
In addition; must have the ability to relate to seniors compassionately with an enthusiastic personality.
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and be available on weekends and some holidays.
Principle Functions:
To direct all incoming calls, visitors and questions to the appropriate destination in a professional and pleasant manner.
Must adhere to the highest level of customer service.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrates an attitude of cooperation and professionalism when dealing with residents, visitors, staff and supervisors.
