Maintenance/Custodian

Sharon City School District has a Maintenance/Custodian (12 month) opening. This position is full time with healthcare and benefits. The successful candidate must be a high school graduate with knowledge of building & floor maintenance, repair work, custodial duties, and HVAC & electrical systems operations. QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidate will: * Be a high school graduate * Have the ability to stand, walk & bend for long periods of time * Have the ability to lift over 50 lbs. & climb over 15 ft. * Have knowledge of building security/alarm systems * Have general knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems and heavy equipment operation * Be responsible for general building maintenance, floor maintenance and repair work * Be responsible for general custodial duties to include snow removal, cleaning of sidewalks, & driveways * Ability to manage staff and complete required paperwork REQUIREMENTS: *Criminal History Record Clearance (Act 34) * Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151) * Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114) * Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168) * Mandated Reporter Training (Act 126) * Arrest/Conviction Report (Act 24) Complete vacancy notice can be found at www.sharonsd.org under Employment Opportunities.
