Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. Eldora is located just outside of the charming mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, about 20 miles west of Boulder and less than 50 miles from downtown Denver.
Eldora strives to deliver Colorado's Front Range the most memorable outdoor adventures to locals and out-of-town visitors. Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 employees at peak season and has 680 acres of lift-accessible terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park experience, and a world class Nordic Center.

Position Summary: This position welcomes our guests to Eldora, and you will be the first person our skiers and riders see upon arrival. We are looking for fun, outgoing, and energetic people who enjoy working with the public. Responsibilities include, but are not limited too; directing cars to various lots, traffic control, putting out and picking up parking directional aids, signs, and cones, providing directions and event support, and transacting applicable parking fees. The Eldora Parking department has full and part-time positions available. We offer flexible schedules and are committed to providing exceptional experiences for our employees as well as our guests.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Direct traffic in all parking areas.
Arrange signs and cones to provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
Clear snow and ice from parking areas.
Transact parking fees from guests.
Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.
All employees are expected to support Eldora's corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.

Specific Job Skills:
Has a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Has valid US Driver's License.
Ability to meet company standards for MVR check.
Physical Demands:
Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing
Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment
Concentrated reading and writing
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Extended periods of outdoor exposure
Extreme cold, extreme heat and sun exposure
Variation in temperature from hot to cold
Schedule:
Non-Peak Days (M-F): 7am-2pm
Peak Days (Sa/Sun/Holidays): 7am-5pm
This schedule represents an average work week and is subject to change based on guest volume, operational needs, and weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $19+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. Additionally, this position accumulates sick time
