Janitor

Pay: $17.75 per hour**

**Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday**

**What you'll do:** This role performs a variety of general custodial tasks and keeps assigned areas of facility clean and in an orderly condition.

**Essential functions:**

1. Maintain the grounds and inside the facility, by removing and disposing of litter and debris.

2. Perform general labor and maintain facility appearance by cleaning hallways, dining area, bathrooms, and other areas of the facility as assigned.

3. Lift, carry, open, and unpack boxes using a hand truck or dolly, if necessary.

4. Move furniture, strip, refinish and buff floors, which requires lifting over 50 lbs. and requires long periods of waking and standing.

**Education and Experience Requirements:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

+ One (1) year of general janitorial experience or related experience preferred.

+ Must successfully complete required preservice training.

+ Valid drivers license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
