Position Overview:

We are seeking a professional and experienced Restaurant Server to join our front-of-house team at Jeans , a modern American restaurant known for its exceptional service and refined culinary offerings. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of upscale service standards, wine and food pairings, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests in a fast-paced fine dining environment
• Guide guests through the menu, offering detailed descriptions of dishes, ingredients, preparation methods, and chef specials
• Suggest wine pairings and specialty cocktails, demonstrating deep knowledge of the wine list and bar offerings
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system efficiently
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to inquiries or special requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service stations
• Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain impeccable hygiene standards
• Manage check presentations, process payments, and thank guests warmly for their visit
• Support team members and contribute to smooth service flow throughout shifts

Qualifications:

• Minimum 23 years of experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant required
• In-depth knowledge of fine dining etiquette, food presentation, and service standards
• Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairings preferred (WSET or sommelier certification is a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor, polished appearance, and a commitment to excellence
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure in a high-paced environment
  Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old and have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
• Comfortable carrying multiple plates, trays, or glassware
