The primary purpose of this position is to manage all valet activity for The Residence at Boylston Place. The position also has the responsibility of driving residents to and from appointments and other destinations. The valet driver will ensure that the rotunda and parking garage are organized and clean.

Qualifications

a. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Requires excellent driving skills and knowledge of servicing an automobile. The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is required. Requires frequent lifting, bending and stretching. The ability to handle emergency situations calmly and completely is essential.

b. Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.

c. Experience: A minimum of three-years driving experience is required.

d. Certificates/Licenses: A valid drivers license in the communitys State is required. No more than two moving violations in a three-year period on the driving record as determined by your facilities insurance broker.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities described below are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the basic functions of this position. 1. Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, coworkers and the surrounding community.

2. As an associate you are expected to have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals.

3. Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude.

4. Operates a 7 to 14+ passenger vehicle.

5. Ensure vehicle(s) are always ready for transport. This includes but is not limited to: safety checks, first aid supplies and updated resident emergency information sheets.

6. Assist the residents with entering and leaving the vehicle.

7. Assist with baggage as needed. 8. Enforces safety rules when traveling.

9. Secures all necessary paperwork for appointments and delivers paperwork to appropriate persons.

10. Transports residents to and from appointments, group activities, and other destinations.

11. Services the vehicle with fuel, oil, necessary fluids and maintains vehicle in a clean and sanitary condition.

12. Performs emergency repairs as needed.

13. Attends required in-services and orientation.

14. Responds to residents request and other duties as requested.

15. Assist in planning, developing, organizing and implementation of all residence activities.

16. Other duties as requested.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Good physical and mental health. Finger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and equipment. Visual and auditory acuity. Must be able to lift a minimum of fifteen (15) lbs., and be able to carry objects. Must be able to push and pull carts, and continuously walk, sit and stand. Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate. Must use good body mechanics. Should be neat and well groomed. Must be able to type and use a computer. Must project a positive attitude towards the service provided. 1. Residence vehicle

3. Service fluids (oil, brake fluid, etc.)
