• Housekeeper - Full Time Sunday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm (plus every other holiday)
• Housekeeper -Full Time 6am - 2:30pm including every other weekend (plus every other holiday)

Housekeeping responsibilities include:

• Cleans assigned areas, furnishings, and fixtures.
• Cleans floors, dry mops, and wet mops.
• Empties trash and waste receptacles.
• Vacuum carpeting and walk-off mats.
• Dusting, high-dusting, spot-cleaning, washing, polishing and disinfecting.
• Cleans bathroom areas (resident and public).
• Assists with feeding residents during mealtimes.

Laundry Responsibilities include:

• Collects soiled items from halls and utility areas.
• Sorts, weighs, washes and extracts.
• Dries items according to procedure guidelines for heat and cooling.
• Folds, sorts and labels clean linens when dry. Distributes to Health Care Center closets and wing carts in neat and orderly fashion.
• Follows routine daily, weekly and occasional laundry area cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Clean wheelchairs according to assigned schedule.
  

Requirements

Housekeeping & Laundry Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping/custodial or laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable and detail oriented.
• Must possess a strong customer service focus.
