QualificationsSYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
- Greet customers as they enter the restaurant.
- Take reservations or put customers on a waiting list.
- Give customers menus and show them to their seats.
- Handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu.
- Assist various restaurant staff when necessary.
- Maintain a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Manage the reservation book.
- Offer menus and drinks to guests once they sit down.
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
- Perform opening and closing duties, as needed.
- Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITES
General: Must be age 18 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Non-Gaming license.
Education: Education and/or training in hospitality experience preferred. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace
Experience: Previous work experience as a host/hostess or waiter/waitress preferred.
Physical: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, grasping, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination.
