Housekeeper - (FT,PT, Flexible Schedules)

Steele Hill Resort nestled in beautiful Sanbornton, NH (15 minutes from Laconia, Tilton and Belmont), overlooking lake Winnisquam, is looking for dedicated Housekeepers. Steele Hill is a high-end resort, consisting of 150+ guest rooms, a full-service restaurant, and many indoor and outdoor amenities (employee use permitted!).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate assignment list for the day and create an efficient strategy.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning rooms, bathrooms, common areas, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the manager.
• Knows how to complete the 4 tasks of turning a room: stripping, cleaning, stocking and formatting.
• Proper upkeep of supplies and equipment at the start and end of each day.
• Interact positively with guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Works in teams or alone to complete the days assignments.
• Works with Houseman to assess the needs of the housekeeping teams.
• Recognizes issues that require Manager attention, and alerts Manager On Duty as appropriate.

• Possesses the ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and via radio.
• High level of attention to detail is a must.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required

Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, bend and walk for extended periods

Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, daily tasks.

Rate of Pay

• Starting hourly rate $17.00/hr. plus tips for Full Time/Part Time
