**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled cook to accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for diverse meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events.

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepare and present food for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, and special events.

+ Accurately follow recipes and portion control guidelines.

+ Utilize kitchen equipment effectively and maintain a clean workspace.

+ Work collaboratively within a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

+ Maintain inventory control and ensure all items are stocked appropriately.

+ Wash dishes and clean stations to uphold hygiene standards.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficient in food preparation and service.

+ Ability to use knives and kitchen equipment.

+ Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

+ Bilingual abilities are advantageous.

+ Experience in cold prep, hot prep, grilling, chopping, and slicing.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in line cooking and foodservice.

+ Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

+ Inventory control skills and ability to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.

**Work Environment**

Work hours are from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, with days off on Wednesday and Thursday. The role requires proficiency in using kitchen equipment and speaking bilingual languages is beneficial.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
