Role Description
Our servers strive to surpass the expectations of our guests, ensuring they have the best possible experience while visiting the restaurants at Brasada. Servers are responsible for positive member and guest interactions while serving beverages and food to members and their guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, Servers are expected to be attentive to our members and their guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Our Club Room Servers are energetic, enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about hospitality, food and beverage. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Servers are expected to have some basic cooking knowledge.
The anticipated schedule for this position is Thursday - Monday from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm with the flexibility to work evenings and holidays as needed. Morning servers earn $15.35 per hour plus tips.
General Responsibilities
- Cultivating an elevated dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
- Handle the table bookings, direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks.
- Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
- Maintain an organized, sanitary and safe working area.
- Assisting with special events as needed.
- Understands and can communicate products and services available at the resort.
- Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Skills/Traits
- Previous serving or barista experience required.
- Excellent oral communication skills required.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs
- Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs
- Ability to obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire (cost eligible for reimbursement)
- OLCC Certification
